Medical Students

This Practice collaborates with the School of Medicine at the University of East Anglia for the MB/BS programme to train undergraduate medical students to become Doctors. This is a 5 year integrated course and clinical placements occur from the first year onwards. Dr. Mansfield leads 10 first year medical students with their studies on a Thursday at Coltishall Surgery. This involves both theoretical tuition and practical experience with patients. You may be asked if you would agree to having medical students present in your consultation. This is of course voluntary and a refusal will in no way affect your usual medical care.

This training occurs from September to May each academic year for 17 weeks of their training.
